NVIDIA Invests $5 Billion in Intel in Landmark AI Chip Partnership

NVIDIA and Intel have announced a major partnership, with NVIDIA making a $5 billion investment in Intel. The move sent Intel’s stock surging more than 22% in a single day.

The two companies will work together on new data center and PC products, combining Intel’s x86 processors with NVIDIA’s AI and graphics technologies. NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang described it as a “game-changing opportunity,” estimating it could open up $25 to $50 billion in new market potential.

The collaboration will include Intel producing custom CPUs for NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure, as well as co-developing new chips for next-generation laptops. Both companies emphasized that the partnership is built on complementary strengths and shared vision for the future of computing.
